Milesi establishes direct presence in the United States
March 20, 2013-Lancaster, PA. Milesi, an IVM Chemicals Brand, globally known as one of the best producer of high quality polyurethanes, polyester and other wood coating products since 1947, has now established a long awaited direct presence in the United States.U.S. coatings distributors will be able to purchase Milesi products eliminating the pitfalls of importing full containers, paying in dollars, cutting the lead time from months to days, and also having access to technical assistance and local services specific to customers’ needs. “U.S. distributors henceforth will be able to provide a better service, having an higher competitiveness, gaining market share through the new and modern organization that differentiates them from their competitors", says Dario Carezzano, Director of the International Division of IVM Chemicals.

During Drema Furnica Fair 2013 organized in Poznań, MILESI brand was presented on Skill Training Ground. Our Technical Assistants arranged an application show with the use of our products and various types of wood. Visitors had a great opportunity to not only to see how MILESI products are applied, but also to try application by themselves.
CATAS - WKI: The quality of Milesi coating cycles for exterior is confirmed
After CATAS Quality Award, a new certification has been awarded to our wood protection systems for exteriors.
CATAS WKI PREMIUM was born from the agreement between San Giovanni al Natisone laboratory and the German Institute Wilhelm Klauditz Institut (WKI) which requires the passing of rigorous endurance tests (including outside natural exposure) at both Certifying Bodies.
Only the coating systems having positively passed all tests can be awarded with this prestigious certification. Milesi Hydrocrom clear and pigmented systems, already CATAS Quality Award certified, have also won this new challenge.
The continuity between the CATAS Quality Award, received in 2009, and CATAS - WKI Premium, obtained this year, confirms the consistent quality of Hydrocrom Milesi products for exteriors, the result of IVM Chemicals Research and Development Laboratories experience and know-how.

All the tests for the two certifications are listed here in details. The differences that make WKI certification more selective are put in evidence: infrared analysis, which verifies the product IR spectrum compliance over time with that recorded at the certification time, and its natural ageing process, carried out in parallel by the two Certifying Bodies and subject to cross-checks of the specimens exposed.
